Here in Northern Virginia, right now, the average equity that a homeowner has is about $182,000 in equity.
As a homeowner myself, and since I have had my home since before the pandemic, one strategy I have adopted is I've taken out a line of credit. That's because I have a fair amount of equity in my house.
From that line of credit, I've been able to invest in properties so that I benefit from the marketplace right now.
Buy
Rehab
Rent
Refinance
Repeat
It is good news when many people say it's a bad time to buy real estate.
Well, that's for us who understand that when people say,
"Hey, the sky is falling."
That's where wealth is developed. 😁
