Hi!
Thanks for joining me today.
Allow me to take you on a tour of Clifton, VA, of Downtown Clifton and the local must-visits and their real estate opportunities..
What activities can you do with your family in Clifton, VA?
These are just some of the questions I will answer in this tour I have specially made for you, of course with my beloved Ellie!
Don't miss it! Please WATCH this.
So, what activities can you do with your family in Clifton, VA?
Let me share some of the local must-visits:
Peterson's homemade ice cream shop - Your visit will not be complete until you visit. They have just some of the favorites that you can ever imagine, and they also got a dog pound in the back.
The Clifton Historic District is on the National Historic Registry.
Most of these were built long ago, from 1880 - to 1910. Clifton House is located on Chapel Rd. And if you have a business you think you want to find a commercial space, there are real estate offices here, a bakery, and a post office. So this area could be a good spot if you are looking to set up shop for a local business.
Paradise Springs Winery - An incredible winery! There's a tasting room, and the grapes vineyard is just right there!
The water on Paradise Spring was tested and was pure enough to be a commercial bottle.
It's also a great event place to host a ladies brunch, or birthday celebration, maybe a baby shower.
The BunnyMan Bridge is the railway overpass that passes the Colchester Rd near Clifton. The BunnyMan's ghost is said to come out of a place of death every year around Halloween to commemorate his passing. Very scary!
What is real estate like in Clifton, VA?
What I love most about Clifton because, unlike the other areas surrounding the whole of Virginia, the land is far less built up. The early settlers made it that you could only put one property to prevent possible environmental damage to the Occoquan Reservoir, one building per every 5-acre lot unless it had already been divided.
As a result, today, the southern and eastern portions remain heavily forested. They have many single-family homes, and the northern area is considered a horse country or equestrian country.
I call it almost this "island of tranquility" in the middle of the hustle and bustle opportunities in Northern VA.
Little Rocky Run - If you are into really great home structures, Little Rocky Run is for you. There are many options for single-family homes in the area. There's a wide range of prices depending on your needs.
I love this community because it's almost like a Mayberry type of community where you can walk up and down the streets, see the family members walking their dogs and kids playing beside the road. Some are playing street hockey, and some are playing with balls.
The Homeowners Association got a pretty cool swimming pool and a swing back there. It's a great place to bring your families and kids. Right now, it's close because we are heading into the autumn but if you watch this in the summertime, let's take a splash!
Are there condominiums in Clifton, VA?
The Ponds of Clifton Condominiums. The location is fantastic! The tranquil scenery with The Ponds is gorgeous, and there are mixed reviews about the management companies, so check the reviews online.
Are there parks in Clifton, VA?
Bull Run - Occoquan Trail. The area here in Bull Run Trail covers about 400 acres. Now, it doesn't have amenities such as a nice campground or picnic areas, but if you want to go for a lovely Sunday hike with your dog or with your family, there are some excellent spots for it. We have a popular road course through the schools or other groups that often like field trips.
Dogs of all sizes are allowed in the park areas (Ellie will love this if she hears this) as long as you pick up after them. Don't leave any evidence behind. ;p And oh, they have to be leashed!
Here are some details about the area of Clifton, VA.

Virginia Golf Center. This place is where you can take advantage of one of the golf courses.
Where can I shop in Clifton, VA?
Colonnade Union Mill Shopping Center - It's a great little shopping center with almost everything you need. It's got Outback, Giant, the main shopping store, Manhattan where fresh bagels are made, Rosemary's Beef Roast, Hair Cuttery, Starbucks. Just anything you are looking for from a lovely little shopping center.
Whitehall Farm's Market - It is a 205 acre, family-owned farm here in Clifton, VA where you can shop fresh local products, whole seasons of events like birthday parties, corporate events as well as weddings, and more.
There's also Davis General Store and the Shell Gas Station. It's an excellent place to pack some chips and six-packs of beer.
I invite you if you are in the market or relocating to Northern Virginia and you're looking to understand how it's like to live here, play here, work here, how it's like to commute here, go ahead and hit me up - (703) 562-1788
