What are the steps to hiring an Agent?

Not all Real Estate Agents Are Created Equal

When looking for an agent, you should seek someone with experience, expertise, and a genuine desire to help you achieve your goals.

Do an Online Search

A simple Google search of the agent's name can provide valuable information. You can also ask the agent for references from past clients and speak with them directly to learn about their experience working with that agent.

The Next Step

Once you have found an agent, the next step is for them to get to know you and your specific needs. Your agent should ask questions about your timeline, situation, and goals. They should be actively listening to you and seeking to truly understand your motivation for buying a home. By doing this, your agent can better guide you through the process and help alleviate any anxieties or concerns you may have.

Remember That There Will Almost Always Be Challenges

A good agent will be able to help you stay out of harm's way and navigate any potential issues. They will work behind the scenes to negotiate with the seller, title company, lender, and home inspector to ensure everything runs smoothly.
